Richard is a Chartered Accountant with eleven years’ experience within the SRA’s Forensic Investigation Department. Since leaving the SRA in 2007, Richard has provided regulatory and compliance training courses as well as consultancy services to the legal sector through his own company, and works as a consultant with Jonathon Bray.

Whilst able to advise on all aspects of the SRA Handbook, Richard is best known for his expertise in relation to the SRA Accounts Rules, the role of the COFA and all legal accounting issues in general, including the thorny topic of VAT.
